Discover a historic architectural masterpiece in downtown Anderson. The Paramount Atmospheric Theatre is a true work of art. Built in 1929, this fabulous showpiece was orchestrated by legendary Chicago architect, John Eberson. The Paramount is one of 12 remaining Eberson Theaters and boasts an original, restored Grand Page Organ.

Enjoy the excitement of live Standardbred racing April - June and live Thoroughbred racing September - November with Simulcasting year round at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. Watch thrilling horse racing outside along the rail or sit down to a leisurely track-side dinner. This state-of-the-art facility also offers year round exciting action at the Hoosier Park Casino.

The arts are an important part of Anderson/Madison County. The Anderson Symphony Orchestra and the Anderson Young Ballet Troop have been entertaining the community for more than a quarter century. Anderson's Mainstage Theatre offer the best in community theatre. The Anderson Center for the Arts, in the historic Carnegie Building, plays host to art exhibits from around the world.
